“ We’ve been coming to this restaurant for our family dinners for many years, and it has always been our go-to place for special family gatherings. It holds many memories for us. This year, we had our reunion dinner here again, and we were pleasantly surprised. The dinner set was different from previous years, and we truly appreciated the change. The dishes felt more thoughtfully curated, tasted better, and the overall quality had improved. The portion sizes were also very generous, which made the meal even more satisfying. My whole family really enjoyed the dinner — everyone left feeling happy, full, and very satisfied. It was a wonderful reunion dinner experience, and we’re glad we chose to celebrate here again. Looking forward to coming back for many more family dinners in the future! ”

“ First try out. Ordered their weekday set menu which comes with rice, soup and Chinese tea. Opted for the bowl rice with chicken n samsui ginger paste. Portion runs small but the taste was fabulous. The ginger was excellent and coated the chicken meat adequately. Accompanying sauce add another layer to the whole dish . Soup was better then I expected and they even throw in a piece of pork. The set meal would have been perfect if it comes in bigger portion. ”

“ Bump into this restaurant when looking for a soup dinner after a 4hour+ of shopping. It is my first time visiting and it offers a variety of food for order. Tried their black chicken soup, Penang fried mee suah, tofu, vege and sweet &sour pork. Strong recommendation on the Mee suah. The wok HEI is damn great and I love the taste very much. ”

“ Ended up here on a whimp but food was delicious. We ordered the clay pot ribs, sweet and sour fish, claypot tofu and less ginger fried rice. All was satisfactory. The ribs were soft. Better than I expected as I was expecting a little of resistance when bit into it but it fell off the bones quite easily. Portion for everything was big so that's GOOD! No complaints there. If they keep at their standards I'm sure they will continue to do well. Me and hubby aren't tofu fans so not sure why I ordered the tofu. Lol but the tofu became our fav will definitely return ”

“ It has been a while since I have dined here and the food didnt disappoint. My favourite is the samsui chicken and just like what I had years ago in Singapore, the chicken here was just as good as in Singapore. The restaurant decor is nice and the layout also feels like sufficient spacing so we could have quiet conversations. It is also clean. Highlights and tips: - It is table service so staff will come and take your order and deliver food to your table. When you arrive, you will also be seated by the staff. - Samsui chicken is their signature dish and love the ginger condiment that comes with it. Do ration off across the available portion of chicken as any additional servings of ginger condiment will set you back RM10. The chicken is smooth and well cooked. - Between the 2 soups, my personal preference is the black chicken soup. It was more flavoursome, had more variety of ingredients and tasted more wholesome. The veges were well cooked. The key complaints I had for here: - They use cracked bowls and plates to serve. - Food was on the saltier side - The lettuce also had brown bits which was a bit of a put off. All in all, worth giving this restaurant a go. Hopefully they address the highlighted complaints. ”

“ A long-time favorite for a reason! I've been coming here for years and the quality is always top-notch. Delicious food and incredibly thoughtful, attentive service every single time from every member of the waitstaff. Steam chicken, fried taufu with soy sauce, kangkung, steam meat with salted fish and many more. ”

“ Simple decor, a little cramped but suits the purpose. Quickly seated despite the place being quite full. Menu has a few signature dishes. We ordered and food arrived fairly quickly. The chicken was steamed well and went really well with the ginger. Even little one who isn't so fond of steamed chicken dug in! The sofu was soft and with the fried shrimps were good! The vege was cooked soft so it was easy to wat even by elderly. ”

“ Ah kon ginger fried rice is divine. Their signature samsui ginger chicken is a must have. Soup of the day is not very impressive though. The dish portion is big. Suggest to come with more people to order more dishes so that you can eat more variety. ”
